Crosty Signs Deal With Monarchs

MANCHESTER, NH – The Manchester Monarchs, the primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, have signed forward Paul Crosty to a one-year contract, Monarchs Director of Hockey Operations Hubie McDonough announced today.

Crosty, 24, appeared in 32 games with the Monarchs during the 2006-07 season recording two points (1-1=2) and 132 penalty minutes.  Crosty led the Monarchs with an average of 4.13 penalty minutes per game.  His first AHL goal came in the Monarchs 4-3 overtime win over the Lowell Devils on February 2, 2007.  Prior to signing a tryout agreement in Manchester last season, Crosty played in 34 games with the ECHL’s Toledo Storm and collected three points (1-2=3) and 131 penalty minutes.  The 6-foot-2, 220-pound native of Edmonton, Alberta, spent four seasons at Brown University and registered 16 points (3-13=16) and 152 penalty minutes in 93 games.
