 | | Randall Brown, M.D. | | Ophthalmologist | | Randall Brown earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Northwestern State University and Doctor of Medicine degree from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine graduating with honors. Dr. Brown completed an internship at the Boston University Medical Center and completed his residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Rochester and postgraduate training in retinal diseases and laser surgery after residency. He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is the first eye physician to\r\nperform laser surgery in Manchester, New Hampshire.
Dr. Brown was one of three U.S. eye surgeons who traveled to Tobago to render free medical and surgical eye care to needy patients who otherwise would have remained severely visually impaired or blinded due to their vision problems, and lack of available care in their area.
Dr. Brown has been doing laser vision correction since 1991, and was involved in investigative clinical research for VISX in the early 1990's.
Dr. Brown has substantial experience with the LASIK procedure - the most commonly done refractive surgical procedure.
