Hello anxious citizens of Monarchs Country!  We asked and they delivered!  The Stanley Cup is coming to the Jungle on Sunday, September 16!  It is only 39 days away so clear your calendars for an event that you will not want to miss! 

The best way to enjoy this date is to be a Monarchs Ticket Package Holder!  Call the Monarchs Front Office today at 603-626-7825 for information on ticket packages.  I wonder if they will size me for a championship ring while they are here with the Cup!

Helping me pass the time between now and the arrival of the Stanley Cup was another WZID Block Party.  This one was in Merrimack, New Hampshire at Wasserman Park last Tuesday and it was another great time.  I always end up dancing to the music and sharing laughs with fans as the sun goes down!

While I was at the WZID Block Party, a Monarchs fan asked me what position I would play if I were a Monarchs player?  After giving it much thought I would definitely be a goalie because of my cat-like reflexes.  I would pounce on every loose puck in front of the net so fast you would not even see me move!  I have to admit that I would owe some of my superior goaltending skill to my buddy Martin Jones who gave me a few pointers on how to play between the pipes over the last couple years.

Jones’ teammate and another good friend of mine, Stefan Legein, had a funny picture on the Monarchs Facebook page earlier this week.  The picture was from the Monarchs Mullets In Movember game last season and fans came up with some pretty funny captions for the photo.  A few of my favorites were “Dangle, Snipe and Mullet,” “Foiled up the knuckles coach,” “Illegally Blonde” and “Honest Mom, been so busy trying to make the team.  I have not had time for a haircut.”  Click here to see Legein’s photo and leave a comment with your own caption!

Monarchs Country is full of restless energy.  I see it all over Facebook, Twitter and when I talk to Monarchs fans.  The best way to expend that energy is to stay busy.  If you know of an adventure that our friends would me like to attend, please invite me!  I can not stop thinking about how Opening Weekend is only 72 days away but maybe I would be more relaxed at a barbeque or birthday party with you!!  Let me know and Go Monarchs!!
