Hello once again to the greatest fans in hockey!  It is a great feeling knowing that you are a part of the best hockey organization in the world!  It makes writing this blog a real honor and I feel privileged in helping to bring Monarchs Country together each and every week.

One of the best parts about writing my blog is the freedom I have to write about anything and everything I want.  So let’s start with my adventures from last week!!!

You may have seen my Facebook page has a bunch of photos of me with fans from events over the last week.  There are photos from the New Market Old Home Day and WZID posted their own photo album on their website from their block party in which I make a cameo in several photos!

I love taking pictures because those memories are forever remembered in that little picture.  I really could say a thousand wonderful words about each one of those photographs and the nice people that were at the events with me!

One place you will not find pictures of me is from my Twitter account.  That is because I do not have one.  A couple friends of mine were excited to hear I have a Twitter account only to be disappointed when I had to break the news that there is someone pretending to be me on Twitter.  I may get a Twitter account someday #WhenIamKing.  For now, I am going to stick to Facebook!

Even though I have had a blast this August, the month is only half over and there is still a lot to look forward to this month.  I am really looking forward to attending the Old Home Parade at the Londonderry Middle School this Saturday.  If I have even half as much fun at the Old Home Parade than I did at the Old Home Day last week, you will not want to be anywhere else!  I plan on getting there at 10:30 a.m. and hope to see you there too!

The spectacular week ahead continues this Sunday when I get to eat one of my favorite foods!  I will be eating a lot of chili at the Henniker Chilifest!  I like my chili extra spicy so you can really feel the tingle on your tongue!  You can catch up with me after lunch time on Sunday!

Also on tap at some point in the next week or so is the release of the AHL schedule!  I cannot wait to see who will be the Monarchs opponent when they open the home season at the Jungle on October 19 and 20!

I hope to see you all this weekend but if not, keep your eyes open for AHL schedule announcement on the Monarchs website!  Hopefully, I can break down some of the interesting match-ups on the Monarchs schedule.  Stay tuned until next week!
