Hello once again to everyone in Monarchs Country!  While having the band Rush and Carrie Underwood in the Jungle for the last couple weeks has been awesome, it still does not compare to watching the Manchester Monarchs!  In just a few short weeks, the ice will be in place and the team will be here to kick-off the hockey season!  Finally!!

Did everyone see the Monarchs announced their promotion schedule on Monday?!  If you did not, you may not know about my Star Wars birthday party on March 10!  That’s right!  I am having a Star Wars themed party and I am going all out for it!  You will not want to miss it!

Another game you definitely need to make it to is Canadian Heritage Night on October 28 with a special 4:00 p.m. start time.  Those that remember last year’s Canadian Heritage Night can attest that despite the crazy snow and windstorm we had that afternoon, making it to the game was well worth it and I cannot wait to get my hands on some tasty poutine once again!

Speaking of announcements, I am helping the Monarchs out on Thursday at a special press conference.  I do not mean to tease and leave you in suspense but I cannot say much more than that because I have been sworn to secrecy until next week’s blog.

I am already looking forward to this weekend.  It is going to be so much fun!  On Saturday, I begin my day at the Concord Youth Hockey Learn-To-Skate sign-ups.  They make skating look so easy!  I wish I did this when I was first learning to skate!

My action packed Saturday continues when I head to the Nashua’s Boys and Girls Club at 47 Grand Avenue for their special Day With Kids which has tons of great activities for everyone to enjoy.  It starts at 10:00 a.m. and I will be there in the early afternoon!  It is free to attend so I hope I see you all there!

Finally, but certainly not least, my busy Saturday concludes with some Greek food, fun and entertainment!  You can join me and the thousands of others expected to attend for Glendi at St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Manchester.

On Sunday, it is the day everyone has been waiting for!!  The Stanley Cup will be here!  I wish I got my own day with it!  I would take it around and show it off to all my friends!  I do not think one day would be enough but maybe I can persuade them to give a lion at least one!

Well everybody, I have been a busy lion but let me know where to find you and I will come say hello!  Just drop me a message on my Facebook page telling me where you want to meet up!  At the very least, I should see you all this Sunday with the Stanley Cup at the Jungle!  Go Monarchs!!
