Happy New Year Monarchs Country!  2012 was a great year but I cannot wait for 2013!  My New Year’s resolution is to go on even more adventures than I do now!  I suppose I should first catch everyone up on my recent adventures.

Christmas was extra special this year.  The ZOOperstars came to town for Cabin Fever Night and arrived a day early and surprised me by spending Christmas with me!  It was great to see my buddies Bobby Orrangutang, Squidney Crosby, Whale Gretzky, Dennis Frogman and Tim Tebull!  I only get to see them once a year so our time together was extra special since they came over for Christmas before showing off their skills at the Monarchs Cabin Fever game.

Before I knew it, The ZOOperstars went home and the Monarchs annual indoor fireworks show was here at the New Year’s Eve Celebration game!  Once again, the show was amazing and the Monarchs had a really cool tribute video recapping 2012. 

I am really excited to be heading to Catholic Medical Center this Thursday to get everyone thinkin’ Pink! I’ll be there from 10:00-11:00 a.m. helping sell tickets to the Monarchs third annual Pink In The Rink night on February 9 against the Providence Bruins.  Every year, the Monarchs Care Foundation and Catholic Medical Center team up to help raise awareness and money for help fight against breast cancer with this special game.  The Monarchs will be playing on pink ice and the players will be wearing specialty pink jerseys.  Maybe if I am, lucky I can get my name on a pink jersey and wear it to the game!  

I will also be headed to Bugaboo Creek in Bedford for Kid’s Night next Tuesday during dinner time.  Every kid’s meal that you order comes with a free ice cream treat! If you are too big for the kid’s meal and you still love Bugaboo like I do, you should take a look at the Monarchs Facebook trivia contest which has a new question every Tuesday!  You could win a gift certificate to Bugaboo.  I enter every week but have not won yet!  I sure wish I could win so I could order a Moose Breath Burger or even some Caribou Chicken!  My mouth is watering just thinking about it.
