Hello Monarchs Country! Our first ever Los Angeles Kings Night is this Saturday! I literally cannot wait for this night. It will be one for the ages! I do not want to get to far ahead of myself here so let me first tell you about my amazing adventures last week!
I had so much fun at the re-opening of McDonald’s on South Willow Street. I enjoyed my free french fries that I got when the Monarchs scored more than four goals (seven!) last Friday night! Monarchs center Jordan Weal and defenseman Bryan Rodney were there hanging out too. As usual, they were super nice posing for pictures and signing a bunch of autographs! Man, those fries are good! I could not keep my paws them!
Once I left McDonald’s, I made my way down to Manchester Subaru to lounge with a bunch of the Monarchs players. It was fun to hang out with center and captain Marc-Andre Cliche, left wing Richard Clune, defenseman Andrew Campbell, defenseman Thomas Hickey, goaltender Martin Jones and defenseman David Kolomatis off the ice! What a great group of guys! One sad note is that this was the last time Monarchs Country got to see Clune and Hickey as they were claimed off waivers by the Nashville Predators and New York Islanders, respectively! I wish nothing but the best for them and they will be sorely missed here in Monarchs Country.
Well, as I said, the Los Angeles Kings Night is finally here! Our Monarchs will host the Providence Bruins this Saturday at 7:00 p.m. Be sure to wear your favorite Monarchs and Kings apparel as the nearly sold out crowd will be roaring throughout the Verizon Wireless Arena. I am super excited about the pre-game banner ceremony and the silent auction of the Kings jerseys that the players and I will be wearing! I hope to get there early and get my paws on a free Kings jersey bank as they are giving them away to the first 2,000 fans in attendance!
The big weekend in Monarchs Country continues with another clash of the titans in the seventh VIP Cup match-up this season! The Portland Pirates will be in town this Sunday at 3:00 p.m.! Folks can get discounted tickets for VIP Cup games here!
Thanks for reading my blog this week! Stay tuned for future blogs for more details on more of my adventures including Fred’s Fund Annual Ice Golf Tournament and the New Hampshire Farm & Forest Expo which I am really looking forward to! Lastly, if you have any birthday parties coming up, please let me know! I haven’t been to one in a while and I really miss it! Go Monarchs!
