Kings Announce Roster Moves

LOS ANGELES, CA – The Los Angeles Kings, 2012 Stanley Cup Champion and the parent club of the Manchester Monarchs, have activated defenseman Alec Martinez from the injured reserve list and have assigned defenseman Andrew Campbell to the Monarchs, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today.

Martinez, 25, has missed the last seven games after suffering an upper body injury February 11 at St. Louis.  The 6-foot-1, 206 pound native of Rochester Hills, Michigan has played 11 games with the Kings this season, recording two points (1-1=2) and four penalty minutes.

Campbell, 25, did not appear in a game with the Kings.  The 6-foot-4, 210-pound native of Caledonia, Ontario has played in 28 games for the Monarchs this season and has recorded eight points (1-7=8), 26 penalty minutes and a plus-13 rating.
